Robert Nagel has taught constitutional law and theory at the University of Colorado Law School since 1975. He has also published prolifically, including four books, over 50 law review articles, and opinion pieces in publications such as The New Republic, the Wall Street Journal, First Things, and the Weekly Standard. Much of his work has focused on the relationship between the judiciary (and its interpretation of the Constitution) and the wider context of American political culture. He was formerly the director of the Law School’s Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional Law.

Richard Westfall has been a leading expert in appellate advocacy, public policy, and constitutional law for nearly three decades. Before entering private practice, he served as Colorado’s Solicitor General during Attorney General Gale Norton’s tenure; he also clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Byron White.

Robert Hardaway served in the US Navy JAG Corps after graduating from New York University Law School, handling both civil and criminal litigation. After serving four years, he practiced civil litigation at the Denver law firm of Rovira, Demuth, and Eiberger. He later served as a Deputy District attorney for Araphoe County and rounded out his litigation career as a Colorado Deputy Public Defender, where he handled hundreds of felony cases. He is the author of fourteen published books on law and public policy, 29 academic articles, and over 75 opinion editorials in national newspapers.

The cost of the luncheon is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
