Jonathan D. Urick

Senior Counsel, U.S. Chamber Litigation Center

Jonathan Urick is senior counsel for litigation at the U.S. Chamber Litigation Center, the litigation arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, Urick handles a variety of litigation matters for the Chamber.

Urick has extensive experience representing businesses in both federal and state courts.  Before joining the Chamber, he practiced law with McGuireWoods LLP in Richmond, Virginia, focusing on appeals and dispositive motions.

After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Law Review, Urick clerked at all three levels of the federal judiciary: first in the Eastern District of Kentucky for Judge Amul Thapar, then at the Sixth Circuit for Judge Jeffrey Sutton, and finally at the U.S. Supreme Court for Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas.

Urick earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Delaware.
