Steven Teles is Associate Professor of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. He has been a professor or visiting researcher at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, University of Maryland, Brandeis University, the University of London, Holy Cross, and Hamilton Colleges. He is the author of The Rise of the Conservative Legal Movement: The Battle for Control of the Law and Whose Welfare: AFDC and Elite Politics.

Teles earned his PhD from the University of Virginia and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University’s Center for American Political Studies and Princeton University.

The cost of the luncheon is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
