Kyle Hawkins is a partner at Lehotsky Keller Cohn LLP, where he is Chair of the firm's Texas Appellate Practice. Previously, Mr. Hawkins served as the Texas Solicitor General, and he has argued four cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Hawkins clerked for Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. of the Supreme Court of the United States and for Judge Edith H. Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and an A.B. from Harvard College.
Trevor W. Ezell is General Counsel to Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Before that, he worked at Clement & Murphy where he focused on complex litigation in federal and state courts in disputes that presented constitutional law, regulatory, products liability, and contracts issues. He previously served as Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. Ezell also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Law. He clerked for Justice Neil M. Gorsuch of the Supreme Court of the United States, Judge Andrew S. Oldham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and Judge Jeffrey S. Sutton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ezell holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. from Kenyon College.
Natalie D. Thompson serves as senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, where her practice in the regulatory litigation group focuses on federal administrative law’s impact on religious freedom and the sanctity of life. Before joining ADF, Thompson served as an assistant solicitor general in the Office of the Texas Attorney General. She clerked for Judge Andrew S. Oldham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht of the Supreme Court of Texas, and Judge Michael W. Mosman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Thompson was also an associate an international law firm, where her practice focused on securities defense and complex commercial litigation. She holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. from the University of Southern California.
