Professor Brian Fitzpatrick of Vanderbilt University will be discussing several of the most interesting decisions of this past Supreme Court term including affirmative action (Fisher v. University of Texas), same-sex marriage (Hollingsworth v. Perry and United States v. Windsor), the Voting Rights Act (Shelby County v. Holder), class action arbitration (American Express v. Italian Colors), and the Alien Tort Statute (Kiobel v. Royal Dutch Petroleum).
