Please join the Piedmont Triad Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society on Monday, November 16 for a debate between Alan Gura and Professor Joseph Blocher on the future of the Second Amendment. Gura and Blocher both participated in last year's landmark District of Columbia v. Heller decision. Gura will return to the Supreme Court to argue McDonald v. Chicago, a case that seeks to incorporate the Second Amendment against state and local governments. The debate will be moderated by Retired United States District Court Judge Frank W. Bullock, Jr. A networking event and reception will be held at 5:00 p.m. prior to the debate.
