Why Originalism? Which Originalism?

Lewis & Clark Student Chapter

These days we hear a lot about how “originalism” is the dominant approach to Constitutional jurisprudence, at least among the Justices of the current Supreme Court. But what exactly is “originalism,” anyway? Join Lewis & Clark’s Federalist Society chapter for a brief presentation exploring the answer to this question (and free lunch)! Interested students are then welcome to stay for the chapter’s Fall 2025 General Meeting.

As always, the Federalist Society takes no position on particular legal or public policy issues; all expressions of opinion are those of the speaker.
