U.S. Supreme Court Round-Up

Mrs. Severino is chief counsel and policy director of the Judicial Crisis Network.  She was previously a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and to Judge David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

 

Mrs. Severino regularly files briefs in high-profile Supreme Court cases, including King v. Burwell, challenging the Obama Administration’s implementation of Obamacare; Hobby Lobby v. Burwell, arguing in favor of religious freedom; McCullen v. Coakley, the First Amendment challenge to Massachusetts' abortion clinic-buffer zone law, and Schuette v. BAMN, defending states' rights to engage in race-blind higher education admissions.
