Cutrona currently serves as the Chief Nominations Counsel for the top Republican on the Judiciary Committee, Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama. Her role includes overseeing all nominations in the Committee's jurisdiction, including those for federal judgeships and the Department of Justice and related agencies. She has been a Republican Counsel to the Committee since March 2008.

Prior to joining the Judiciary Committee, Cutrona was as a Senior Litigation Associate with the law firms of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge and Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, and as a clerk for the New Jersey Supreme Court. A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and Georgetown University, Cutrona served as the President of the Federalist Society New Jersey Lawyers Chapter.
