Paul D. Clement is a partner at King & Spalding and head of the firm's national appellate practice. He served as the 43rd Solicitor General of the United States and has argued 49 cases before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Clement has also served as a Visiting Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center. Following his graduation from Harvard Law School, Mr. Clement clerked for Judge Laurence Silberman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and for Associate Justice Antonin Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court.
