Mr. Bolick is the Director of the Goldwater Institute’s Center for Constitutional Litigation and a research fellow at the Hoover Institution. He also co-founded the Institute for Justice, a leading public-interest law firm that has been at the forefront of the legal battle for school choice nationwide and that recently intervened to defend the North Carolina voucher program from legal challenge. Mr. Bolick has argued and won a number of important school-choice cases in the federal courts, including Zelman v. Simmons-Harris (S. Ct. 2002).

Rep. Bryan represents the 88th District in the North Carolina House of Representatives, where he is a forceful advocate for education reform and serves on the Education Committee. He played a leading role in the passage of voucher legislation during last year’s legislative session. Rep. Bryan is also a commercial real estate lawyer at Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge & Rice.
