Supreme Court 2026 Term Preview with Ilya Shapiro

Join the Puerto Rico Lawyer Chapter of the Federalist
Society for an evening with Ilya Shapiro, Senior Fellow and Director
of Constitutional Studies at the Manhattan Institute, for a preview of
the Supreme Court’s 2026 Term.
Drawing on his experience filing hundreds of Supreme Court amicus
briefs, Ilya will discuss the major cases and constitutional questions
before the Court and offer an amicus perspective on the legal issues
likely to shape the Term. The program will also include a brief
discussion of the most significant decisions from the 2025 Term.
The ticket includes a hummus appetizer; a choice of main course,
water, coffee, and dessert; all applicable registration fees;
gratuities and taxes; valet parking (please tip the valet); and the
$3.00 per-participant, per-credit fee required by the Puerto Rico
Supreme Court’s Continuing Legal Education Program.
This program qualifies for 1 hour of general CLE credit in Puerto Rico.
Registration begins at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner and CLE will run from 7:00 p.m. to at least 8:00 p.m., followed by a cash-bar networking
reception until at least 10:00 p.m.
Registration will be available online only through the Federalist Society
registration link; no tickets will be sold at the door.
