Please join the Young Lawyers Chapter on Monday June 2nd for a cocktail party. The evening will feature a talk about entrepreneurship, by Mr. Mark Gerson, who received his JD from Yale Law School and has gone on to found and run successful businesses, NGOs, and publish two books and many columns on conservative politics.
Mark Gerson is the co-founder and Chairman of Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), the largest expert network company in the world, connecting corporations, professional services firms and institutional investors with experts globally and across all types of industries. Mark is also the co-founder and/or Chairman of Thuzio (thuzio.com and thuzioexecutiveclub.com), United Hatzalah (the network of first responders that treat victims of pre-hospital trauma in Israel -- israelrescue.org) and the Africa Mission Healthcare Foundation (which supports the work of medical missionaries performing clinical care throughout Africa - amhf.us).
A graduate of Williams College and Yale Law School, he is the author of “The Neoconservative Vision: From the Cold War to the Culture Wars," “In the Classroom: Dispatches from an Inner-City School That Works.” and the editor of "The Essential Neoconservative Reader." His articles and essays have been published in Commentary, The Wall Street Journal, First Things, Weekly Standard and other publications.
He is married to Rabbi Erica Gerson and they and their three children live in New York City.
