Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt will discuss the pending Supreme Court case Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby and related religious liberty issues.
The Supreme Court heard argument in Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby on March 25, 2014. The Court is considering whether the Religious Freedom Restoration Act "allows a for-profit corporation to deny its employees the health coverage of contraceptives to which the employees are otherwise entitled by federal law, based on the religious objections of the corporation’s owners." The State of Oklahoma submitted an amicus brief in favor of Hobby Lobby.
