On the evening of Tuesday, August 9, the Houston Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society will host a panel discussion entitled, "Justice Scalia's Life and Legacy." Judge Edith Jones will moderate a panel comprising three of Justice Scalia's former clerks: Judge Jeffrey Sutton, Ed Whelan, and Evan Young. The panel will discuss Justice Scalia's work on the Supreme Court, his contributions to the law, the effect of his absence on the Court's recently completed term, and the continuing impact of his jurisprudence.
