James Madison is commonly hailed as the Father of the Constitution. But that term hardly describes the multiple roles Madison played in the movement that led to the calling of the Federal Convention of 1787, the framing and adoption of the Constitution, and its first amendments. This talk will portray Madison as both a political strategist and America's greatest constitutional thinker.
