The Columbus Chapter of the Federalist Society continues its fall luncheon series with a timely and informative presentation by Cleveland State University Professor of Law, David Forte. Mr. Forte served as chief counsel to the United States delegation to the United Nations during the Reagan administration. He has been a State Department advisor on matters including human rights, religious persecution and Islamic extremism, and has traveled to Amman, Jordan on a speaking tour sponsored by the State Department. Mr. Forte frequently testifies before legislative bodies, and has assisted the Ohio legislature in crafting various bills. Mr. Forte is also a prolific speaker and author; his publications include Islamic Law Studies: Classical and Contemporary In addition to teaching at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Mr. Forte is active in the Cleveland legal community.
