Prior to being appointed to replace Allison Eid as Solicitor General in 2006, Dan served in the U.S. Department of the Interior as Special Assistant to the Solicitor. He also has worked at a large national law firm, as counsel for Senator John Thune, and clerked 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Dan is a graduate of Georgetown University the University of Virginia School of Law.
