The Columbus Chapter of the Federalist Society will kick off its fall season of luncheon discussions and debates with an engaging review of the U.S. Supreme Court's 2006-2007 session.
We are pleased to welcome Bill Marshall, our new Solicitor General, to speak on this occasion. Mr. Marshall was a law professor from 1985 until he joined Attorney General Dann's office in June, 2007. He is a nationally recognized constitutional law expert and has published more than 50 articles in leading journals. He served as deputy White House counsel and deputy assistant to the President of the United States during the Clinton administration. In those roles, Mr. Marshall worked on a variety of issues, ranging from freedom of religion to separation of powers.
