Forgotten Founders — Rediscovering the Patriots Who Shaped America
The American History and Tradition Project
Every American knows the names Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin. But what about the other patriots who risked everything to create our nation? The Founding Fathers who signed our great state papers, shaped our Constitution, and served in the earliest days of our Republic?
This series shines a light on these Forgotten Founders—the statesmen, patriots, and public servants whose contributions helped forge the American experiment in self-government. From cobblers to diplomats, from state legislators to Vice Presidents, these are the stories the American History & Tradition Project seeks to remember.
