Mr. Starling serves as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Thom Tillis. Prior to that, Mr. Starling served as General Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor to the Senator, concentrating primarily in the areas covered by the Senate Judiciary and Agriculture Committees. Before Senator Tillis was elected to the U.S. Senate, Mr. Starling served as General Counsel to Senator Tillis in his role as Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives. Mr. Starling also served as General Counsel to the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Mr. Starling holds a J.D. from the UNC School of Law.
Mr. Starling will provide an update on the current session of the U.S. Senate, as well as Senator Tillis’ involvement on the Judiciary Committee.
