The last U.S. Supreme Court term changed the country in big ways: people everywhere can now keep guns in their homes, corporations have more freedom to run ads supporting political candidates, and more. What does the upcoming term hold? Ohio Solicitor General - and former U.S. Supreme Court clerk - Benjamin Mizer will guide us through the cases you'll want to follow in the year ahead.
Mr. Mizer is a graduate of the College of Wooster and the University of Michigan Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the Michigan Law Review. He was a clerk to Justice John Paul Stevens of the United States Supreme Court and to Judge Judith Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Mr. Mizer has also been an Associate Legal Officer at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands, and an associate in the Washington, D.C. law office of WilmerHale, where he specialized in constitutional and appellate litigation.
