Please join the New Jersey Lawyers Chapter of The Federalist Society for our annual review of key cases decided during the United States Supreme Court's recently concluded 2013 Term.
Greg Katsas of Jones Day will discuss the recent Hobby Lobby decision, as well as Harris v. Quinn (compelled public sector union contributions), Noel Canning (Obama's recess appointments), and others.
Between 2001 and 2009, Greg served in many senior positions in the U.S. Department of Justice, including Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division and Acting Associate Attorney General. In these positions, he handled or supervised most of the government's leading civil appeals. Recently, he briefed and argued the landmark health care case in the U.S. Supreme Court.
