Professor John Yoo is professor at Berkeley Law School. He served as general counsel of the Senate Judiciary Committee and as deputy assistant attorney general in the Department of Justice. Prof. Yoo is author of several notable books, most recently Point of Attack: Preventative War, International Law, and Global Welfare earlier this year.

Professor Jesse Choper is Earl Warren Professor of Public Law at Berkeley Law School. He has taught there since 1965 and was the school's dean for a decade. Among other honors, he is vice president of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has published several renowned works including ten editions of a leading casebook on constitutional law.

Judge Carlos T. Bea is a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Among many distinctions, he has played basketball for Cuba at the XV Olympiad at Helsinki; tried more than a hundred cases to verdict; taught at Hastings and Stanford Law Schools; served on the San Francisco Superior Court; hosted a Spanish-language TV show; and was named an Honorary Vice Consul of Spain.

A reception and networking opportunity will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m., with the panelists set to present at 6:00 p.m.
