Puerto Rico Lawyers Chapter

This event has been postponed to March 16.

Originally scheduled for February 9

If you have already registered for this event and cannot attend the new date, please reach out to Abbie Kepto at [email protected]

Hosted by the Puerto Rico Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society, this dinner reception is our first in-person event after the Government of Puerto Rico began issuing lockdown orders. The event will feature Judd E. Stone, Solicitor General for the State of Texas, who will share his experiences representing the State of Texas before Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and SCOTUS. Drawing from his experiences as Solicitor General and as a former law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia, he will share his insights on how to sharpen appellate advocacy skills.

The event will be divided in two segments. The dinner and CLE will be from 7:00 pm to at least 8:30 pm. Finally, a (cash bar) networking reception will last until at least 10:00pm. As a pre-approved CLE provider in Puerto Rico, the organizer will credit 1 hour of general CLE credits. The ticket includes an appetizer and a main course.

Featuring:

  • Judd Stone, Solicitor General of Texas

Cost:

  • $20 for Members
  • $30 for Non-Members

Valet parking, which is not included in the ticket, costs $4.
