James Hauser is a former Orange County Circuit Court Judge (1990-2007). Currently, Judge Hauser is a
Principal, Attorney's Fees in Florida, PL, a consulting firm specializing in assisting Florida law firms and
their clients with the successful resolution of attorney's fees issues and opportunities. His magnum opus is
Attorney's Fees in Florida (Lexis-Nexis), a two volume set published annually since 1987 and updated
quarterly. Judge Hauser is widely published in the field of attorney's fees and Offer of Judgment. He
lectures on attorney's fees throughout Florida. Judge Hauser is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania,
Wharton School of Finance (1970), and Boston University Law School (1973).
