Since the Supreme Court's landmark rulings in D.C. v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago, lower courts have been busy grappling with cases to define the scope of Second Amendment rights.

Our speaker, Alan Gura, successfully argued Heller and McDonald and has continued his work defending Second Amendment rights. He will update us on the current state of the law, including the current status of the Ninth Circuit's cases dealing with "good cause" requirements for handgun carry permits.

Please note that our event will be in Walnut Creek. Doors open at 5:30 and our program will begin around 6:15.

Cost: $5 for members, free for students, and $10 for non-members (payable by credit card here).
