M. Edward Whelan III is the President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center and directs its program on The Constitution, the Courts, and the Culture. He is a contributor to National Review's Online's Bench Memos blog on judicial nominations. Mr. Whelan previously served as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice, General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Senior Vice President at Verizon Corp., associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson, law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia, and law clerk to Judge J. Clifford Wallace.

The cost of the luncheon is $38 if paid in advance and $40 if paid at the door. Public employees, students and law clerks may pay the discounted rate of $15.
