When Justice Scalia passed away ten years ago, the legal profession lost one of the most influential Justices ever to serve on the Court. But one decade later, his influence continues to grow. Ryan will explore the reasons why, including the Court’s embrace of the interpretive method Scalia spent a career defending; his preference for rules over standards; the remarkable endurance of Reading Law, now a working manual for judges across the country; and the Justices, judges, and advocates who learned the craft from him and now shape the law themselves.
