The Supreme Court’s ruling this month in McCutcheon v. FEC is but the latest in a series of decisions loosening the regulations surrounding political campaigns. How did the Court reach its decision to strike down aggregate donation limits? What are the legal and political consequences, and how does this case relate to Citizens United? What can we expect next from the courts and in the area of election regulation generally? For answers to these questions and more, please join us to hear from the Cato’s Institute Ilya Shapiro, who filed a brief in McCutcheon and has testified before the Senate on campaign finance law.

1 Hour CLE credit requested. Appetizers will be served.
