Paul E. Salamanca is the James & Mary Lassiter Professor of Law at the University of Kentucky School of Law. Professor Salamanca's past experience includes service as a law clerk to Justice David H. Souter of the United States Supreme Court - and service to Justice Souter when he was serving as a judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, as a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City, and as a visiting assistant professor at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. He writes and teaches in the areas of the First Amendment and privacy and has been published in the University of Cincinnati Law Review, Brandeis Law Journal, the Missouri Law Review, and the New Mexico Law Review.

Professor Salamanca graduated from Dartmouth College in 1983 and earned his law degree from Boston College School of Law in 1989, where he served as the notes editor of the Boston College Law Review.
