This luncheon event features Richard Sander, a professor at the UCLA School of Law and co-author (with the National Journal's Stuart Taylor Jr.) of Mismatch: How Affirmative Action Hurts Students It's Intended to Help, and Why Universities Won't Admit It. Prof. Sander will discuss his empirical research on the unintended consequences of affirmative action, as well as the brief he and Mr. Taylor filed as amici curiae in Fisher v. University of Texas, a case currently pending before the U.S. Supreme Court that tests the constitutionality of the University of Texas's affirmative action program.
