First Annual Alaska Federalist Society Summer Social

Alaska Lawyers Chapter

Treadwell-McClure House
528 N Street
Anchorage, AK 99501

Join the Alaska Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society for our First Annual Summer Party, featuring a lively conversation with Judge Chad Readler and Judge Patrick Bumatay, moderated by Stephen Cox.

  • Hon. Chad A. Readler, Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit
  • Hon. Patrick J. Bumatay, Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
  • Moderator: Stephen J. Cox, Former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas

This will be a relaxed and engaging evening of discussion, debate, and Q&A—on everything from judging and the separation of powers to DOJ experiences and the judicial nomination process. With two vacancies on Alaska’s U.S. District Court and White House interviews underway this summer, the timing couldn’t be better.

Our distinguished guests are flying in from across the country to share their perspectives—not only as federal appellate judges but also as former senior officials at the Department of Justice during the first Trump Administration. The potential topics are wide-ranging, and the audience will help shape the conversation.

Registration:

Members: $25 | Non Members: $35

Drinks and light fare will be served.
Space is limited—advance registration required.
