This event will explore recent legal developments and emerging practical trends in the federal sentencing system at both the district and circuit court levels. The discussion will consider whether now, a full six years after the Supreme Court's landmark Booker ruling, the status of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines as advisory serves or undermines the goal of a fair, efficient and transparent sentencing system for federal offenders.

Parking
Parking is available at the Tower Place Garage at a reduced rate of $5 per day. The garage has entrances on Fourth, Elm, and Race Streets. You must have your parking stub validated by a CBA staff member to receive the discounted rate. Additional parking is available at lots on Seventh Streets between Main and Sycamore.
