Please join us on Thursday, February 9, to hear Hannah Smith speak about her role in one of the most important religious liberty cases in decades, Hosanna-Tabor Lutheran Church and School v. EEOC. Ms. Smith will also discuss recent actions taken by the Obama administration requiring faith-based organizations to provide health insurance that covers contraception and sterilization.

Ms. Smith is an attorney for The Beckett Fund for Religious Liberty. Before joining The Becket Fund, Ms. Smith clerked for two U.S. Supreme Court justices – Justice Clarence Thomas and Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. She has litigated a wide array of religious liberty cases at the trial, appellate, and U.S. Supreme Court levels, including Hosanna-Tabor. In her advocacy, she has been quoted or interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, National Review Online, the Laura Ingraham Show, National Public Radio, and many other publications and radio shows.
