Crypto: Regulation and National Security Implications

Hosted by the Puerto Rico Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society, this dinner reception is our first event discussing the fascinating new world of cryptocurrencies. As an entrepreneur in the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, Brock will share his knowledge on regulatory matters. William, as senior counsel of a blockchain software technology company will share his legal expertise on the regulation of crypto and its implications on national security. Carter will then insert his expertise in national security matters as a former AUSA for the EDNY and counselor to the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. As a former U.S. Senate staffer, Carter will also give a legislative update on executive and congressional actions regarding crypto, which all the panelists will comment on. The event aims to equip the attendees on the current situation regarding crypto and the implications to U.S. National Security.
