Days after the inauguration, presidential historian Tevi Troy will join the Federalist Society to discuss his new book,  Shall We Wake the President?  Two Centuries of Disaster Management from the Oval OfficeTroy's timely book looks at how presidents have responded to disasters -- both natural and man-made -- as well as how presidents should handle them in the future. Troy served as the deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and as a White House deputy assistant for domestic policy for President George W. Bush. He is currently serving as president of the American Health Policy Institute and has authored several books on the presidency.
