Mr. Schmitz is a lawyer and was the Inspector General for the Department of Defense from 2002-2005. He left the Pentagon to take over as CEO for the Prince Group, parent company of Blackwater Contracting. Mr. Schlitz is a 1978 graduate of the US Naval Academy and later of Stanford Law. He recently released a handbook for inspectors general.

Mr. Schmitz will be speaking to us about what happened in Benghazi, or at least his perspective as an insider in a position to know. We will probably also talk to him about other issues of the day, including the recently-filed challenge to Obamacare based on the origination clause.
