Please join the Nashville Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society for a special three-part ethics offering featuring topics on marriage, traditional virtues, and manual labor. Lunch will only be served during Session 2 (12:00pm). Refreshments will be available for all three sessions.

  • Featuring: Grant Starrett, Vice President and Special Counsel of Lion Real Estate Group.

This session will discuss the benefits, both personal and professional, that can be gained from marriage.

 

Session II | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CT

How Conservative Values and Traditional Virtues Literally Saved My Life

  • Featuring: a Nashville lawyer in recovery who uses his past to try to help others

 

Session III | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CT

Zen and the Art of Lawncare

  • Featuring: Brandon Smith, Attorney in the Office of the Solicitor General of Tennessee

This session will discuss how physical activity like lawncare can be a useful tool in stress-management. Managing one's stress is a vital part of maintaining good mental health, which in turn can increase your professional capacity.

 

Ethics CLE credit will be available for all three sessions.

Parking: There is NO onsite parking. Those located downtown may want to consider walking. You can valet at the attached hotel for $30+. If you are driving, the best option is likely the NCB Garage located at 217 3rd Ave N. It is a 5 minute walk from Philips Plaza and is approximately $10/hr.
