2019 Federalist Society Reception

• Hon. Michael B. Brennan, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit 

Judge Brennan will explore what the Anti-Federalists believed, and compare and contrast those beliefs with those of the authors of the Federalist Papers. Judge Brennan’s talk will survey the Anti-Federalist understanding of individual rights and enumerated powers, and how the framing of the United States Constitution was affected by the Anti-Federalists, including whether there is an echo of the Anti-Federalists as influential voices in the constitutional debates of today. Remarks will begin at 6:00 PM and will conclude at 7:00 PM.

This event is free of charge, including appetizers, beverages, and anticipated CLE credit.
