With another historic U.S. Supreme Court term behind us, it is an appropriate to take a look back at the many interesting and notable cases decided by the Supreme Court over the past year. Leading this discussion of the past Supreme Court decisions will be Kannon K. Shanmugam, an expert in appellate and Supreme Court practice. Mr. Shanmugam currently is a partner at Williams & Connolly focusing on Supreme Court and appellate practice. He previously clerked for Justice Scalia on the U.S. Supreme Court and worked for four years in the U.S. Solicitor General's Office practicing before the Court. Mr. Shanmugam has been described as a "rising star", a "speeding meteor", and a "wunderkind" of the U.S. Supreme Court bar and the presentation promises to be interesting and informative.
