Kevin Newsom is the former Solicitor General of the State of Alabama as well as a former U.S. Supreme Curt law clerk for Justice Souter. He has argued numerous cases before the Supreme Court. He is a 1994 summa cum laude graduate of Samford University (B.A.) and a 1997 magna cum laude graduateof Harvard Law School, where he was an Articles Editor on the Harvard Law Review. Kevin is amember of the American Law Institute and has commented on legal issues for Fox News Channel, CSPAN, National Public Radio, Time Magazine, USA Today, Forbes Magazine, and ABA Journal.

Brian Fitzpatrick is an associate professor of law at Vanderbilt University Law School. Brian clerked for Justice Antonin Scalia. He is a 1997 summa cum laude graduate of Notre Dame (B.S.) and graduated first in his class in 2000 from Harvard Law School, where he was an Editor of the Harvard Law Review. Among other notable accomplishments, Brian served as Special Counsel for Supreme Court Nominations to Senator John Cornyn during the confirmation process of Chief Justice John Roberts. Brian's research interests have included class action litigation, federal courts, judicial politics and constitutional law, and his work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the National Law Journal, the Detroit Free Press and the Washington Times.
