Please join the Nashville Federalist Society Chapter on December 17 at Frost Brown Todd for three back to back Ethics CLE sessions!

Agenda:

11:00 AM: Lessons from the Best Public Law Office in America

Lacey Mase, Chief Deputy Attorney General of TN, will discuss the inner workings of the TN Attorney General's Office that have made it such a success. Topics will range from recruiting, case assignment, office structure, client / case management, and more.

12:00 PM: How to Lose Cases and Alienate Judges: Lessons from Litigation Misadventures on Sanctions, Reprimands, and Wearing Out One’s Welcome.

Paul Krog, attorney with Bulso PLC, will review cases where courts have identified a brief or line of argument as sanctionable, inappropriate, or simply unhelpful, and will discuss how the audience can avoid these issues in their own cases.

1:00 PM: The Ethics of AI in Law

Jason Coleman, Associate Counsel at AFC, will discuss the burgeoning world of AI use in the legal field including when it is appropriate, when it is not, and how to ethically integrate this new technology into law practice.

 

Tickets:
