• The Connecticut Supreme Court has ruled that children are able to sue for loss of parental love and affection ("parental consortium") when their parent is seriously injured or killed. This overturned a 1998 opinion prohibiting that type of damages. Read more at CTPost.
  • The Pennsylvania Attorney General, Kathleen Kane, is still sorting out how she will administer her office of 750 people once the suspension of her law license takes effect on October 21st.
