Bill Dunn passed away earlier this month at the age of 90. The Federalist Society owes a great debt to Bill, who was a loyal supporter for years and whose wife Rebecca continued to support us after Bill was stricken with Alzheimer’s disease. Bill was a man of passion, creative ability, and humor—especially irreverent humor. Totally committed to liberty, he used his financial genius and skills to help further it. I commend to readers the Reason Foundation’s obituary for Bill, which details his many contributions to “the classical liberal ideas of individual liberty, free markets, and the rule of law.” We offer our condolences to Rebecca, who so loyally took care of Bill and continues his legacy.
