Assistant Solicitor General, Kansas Attorney General
Adam Steinhilber is an assistant solicitor general for the State of Kansas. He was previously a litigation associate in the Kansas City office of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. Before entering private practice, Adam clerked for Chief Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and Justice Mark S. Massa of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Adam earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kansas, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Adam has held several leadership positions within the Federalist Society, and he currently serves on the Board of the Kansas City Lawyers Chapter.
U.S. Attorney, Middle District of Tennessee, U.S. Department of Justice
Braden Boucek was sworn in on December 24, 2025, as the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee. Prior to becoming United States Attorney, Mr. Boucek served as the senior vice president of litigation at the Southeastern Legal Foundation having previously served as the vice president of legal affairs at the Beacon Center. Mr. Boucek has extensive experience as a prosecutor, starting his career at the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office before serving for two years as an Assistant District Attorney General in Williamson County. He was a federal prosecutor for ten years, first serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Tennessee from 2005 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Boucek was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Middle District of Tennessee, the district he now leads as the United States Attorney.

Professor Campbell joined the faculty in 2007. He graduated from Auburn University in 1988 with a degree in International Business and from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1993. Following a judicial clerkship for the Hon. Emmett R. Cox on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Professor Campbell entered private practice in Montgomery and Birmingham.
In 2000, Professor Campbell became an Assistant Attorney General in the Alabama Attorney General’s office, where his practice focused on constitutional law and civil rights, with an emphasis on the First, Eleventh, and Fourteenth Amendments, state immunity, election law, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. In Spring 2002, he was a National Association of Attorneys General Supreme Court Fellow. In 2006, Professor Campbell became Deputy Chief Counsel to United States Senator Jeff Sessions, Chairman, and then Ranking Member, of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Administrative Oversight and the Courts. His responsibilities included legislative analysis, drafting, and negotiations, management of hearings, and review of judicial nominations.
Professor Campbell teaches federal and Alabama civil procedure. In addition, he serves as President of the Board of Directors of Health Talents International, Inc., a nonprofit medical missions agency operating in Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Chief Justice, Texas Supreme Court
Nathan L. Hecht is the 27th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas. He has been elected to the Court six times, first in 1988 as a Justice, and most recently in 2014 as Chief Justice. He is the longest-serving Member of the Court in Texas history and the senior Texas appellate judge in active service. Throughout his service on the Court, Chief Justice Hecht has overseen revisions to the rules of administration, practice, and procedure in Texas courts, and was appointed by the Chief Justice of the United States to the federal Advisory Committee on Civil Rules. Chief Justice Hecht is also active in the Court's efforts to assure that Texans living below the poverty level, as well as others with limited means, have access to basic civil legal services.
Chief Justice Hecht was appointed to the district court in 1981 and was elected to the court of appeals in 1986. Before taking the bench, he was a partner in the Locke firm in Dallas. Chief Justice Hecht holds a B.A. degree with honors in philosophy from Yale University, and a J.D. degree cum laude from the SMU School of Law, where he was a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar. He clerked for Judge Roger Robb on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps.
Chief Justice Hecht is First Vice President of the national Conference of Chief Justices. He is a Life Member of the American Law Institute and a member of Council. He is also a member of the Texas Philosophical Society.
His current term ends December 31, 2020.
