Matzko’s research focuses on mass media in all its forms, from the abuse of the Fairness Doctrine in the 1960s to radical proposals to impose link taxes on the internet. He is also an active TikToker with multiple viral videos covering policy and history.
Matzko has written articles for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the New York Daily News, Christianity Today, and the Knight First Amendment Institute.
