In October 2005, legal scholars, economists, and other experts gathered in Minneapolis at an event co-sponsored by the University of Minnesota Law School and the Federalist Society’s Tax Subcommittee and Minneapolis Lawyer’s Chapter to discuss issues raised by DaimlerChrysler Corp. v.
