Since the late 1970's, antitrust regulation has been guided by the consumer welfare standard. In recent years, critics have been advocating a number of alternatives, including a "big is bad" worldview that has many consequences, arguably including a war on Big Tech. What do we make of this proposed shift and where do we go from here?
