Chief Justice Cady will give a brief presentation entitled, "The Value of an Independent Judiciary." A Q&A session with the Chief Justice will follow the presentation.
This is the fourth in a series of lunch discussions with the Justices of the Iowa Supreme Court hosted and sponsored by the Iowa Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society. Previous events were held with honored guests Justice Thomas Waterman, Justice Bruce Zager and Justice Edward Mansfield. Due to the positive response to our first three luncheons with the newest Justices of the Court, we have decided to continue with our series and will ultimately invite each Justice to be the honored guest at a lunch discussion.
This is a free event and lunch will be provided compliments of the Federalist Society. However, attendance is limited, so to reserve your spot you must RSVP by emailing iowafedsoc@gmail.com by 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 4.
